Orders
Orders accepted Via Post-Telephone-Fax-Email
Minimum Order £100 + Vat
Carriage Paid Order £250 + vat
Orders Under £250 + vat will incur a £6.95 + vat carriage charge
Overseas orders carriage charged at cost
ECC countries vat number required or vat charged at UK rate
Deliveries
Orders are despatched via 24hr next day delivery (no Saturday deliveries available).
Residential customers are advised to have alternate daytime delivery address.
Customers outside mainland UK ie Northern Island & some parts of Scotland
may incur a small surcharge.
Overseas customers shipments are sent via UPS at cost.
Overseas customers are advised to arrange their own carrier.
Payment
Payments can be made by: Cash Visa-MasterCard-Solo Cheque or bank transfer
(ring for details), if sending cash via the post please make sure it is
registered & insured.
Credit accounts will require 2 references & current bank details.
Credit accounts will be strictly 30 days and the company reserves the
right to withhold further goods and implement a 5% surcharge on overdue
accounts. Please note the goods remain the property of Ektaim until paid
for in full. We also reserve the right to make a service charge of £20.00
on each notification by our bank of an unpaid or re-represented cheque.
Settlement discount were applicable may only be taken if paid for in the
required time limit, the company reserves the right to cancel settlement
discount if this time limit is breeched.Trade/line discounts if given will also be cancelled if this time limit is breeched.
We will charge a late payment charge of £12.00 on each occassion a payment is late. We will also make the following charges if necessary
Cover letter for late payment request £25.00+ vat
New Customers – Payment required with first order. Please note all goods
(except catalogues) require vat to be added at the current rate (15%).
Please remember to add this when sending payment.
Price
Lists
Price lists are correct at the time of printing but the company reserves
the right to alter these at any time without notice, if you are unsure
please check when ordering. Retail prices are “suggested” and are only
regarded as a guideline. All scales & measurements are regarded as
approximate.
Title
of Goods
Title of goods shall not pass on to the buyer until FULL payment is received
by the company. Until full payment is received the buyer must make the
goods available to the company and be easily identified as the property
of Ektaim. The buyer grants Ektaim to remove any goods to the value of
any outstanding amount until any outstanding debt is paid. All risk in
the goods shall pass to the buyer on delivery to themselves.
Returns
No goods shall be returned unless prior consent is given by the company.
When consent is given the buyer can return the goods at their expense.
Ektaim reserve the right to repair any fault or replace if required. If
a replacement is not available or the goods are unrepairable then Ektaim
will issue a credit note. No goods are sold on a “sale or return” basis
and any goods ordered which are returned as a “change of mind” will incure
a 20% handling charge. Customers whom pre-order goods must inform the
company at least 2 weeks before the item is delivered, failure to this
will result in the buyer being charged the 20% handling charge. Any items
specially ordered may not be returned or cancelled.
Acceptance of these
terms is considered once the buyer has placed an order with Ektaim and
the buyer should read and understand them before placing any orders with
the company.
